Born and raised in Wapato, Washington, she is a fourth-generation farmer who has managed her family's farm since the 1940s. Before her election to the state legislature in 2024, she served as the president of the Wapato Chamber of Commerce and as the chairman of the Yakima County Republican Central Committee. Manjarrez holds a bachelor of arts degree from Central Washington University.
