Debo Powers

Debo Powers is an American politician and educator currently serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives for District 3. Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she had a long career as a public school teacher and principal before entering politics. Powers was first appointed to the state legislature in 2019 and returned to office in 2025 following her victory in the 2024 election. During her legislative tenure, she has taken positions against bills concerning gender identity in school curricula and sex-segregated facilities in public buildings. She resides in Polebridge, Montana, and continues to be active in state politics.
