Debra M. Davis

Debra M. Davis is an American politician serving as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for District 28 since 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served on the Charles County Board of Commissioners from 2010 to 2018. An attorney by profession, Davis has focused her legislative career on criminal justice reform, including police accountability and oversight, as well as transportation infrastructure and education policy. She currently serves as the vice chair of the House Judiciary Committee and is active in the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland.
