Deepak Bohara

Deepak Bohara was a prominent Nepalese politician and a long-time member of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party. Throughout a career spanning four decades, he served in various ministerial roles, including State Minister for Tourism, and was elected multiple times to the National Panchayat and the House of Representatives. Known for his influence in Rupandehi, he faced controversy regarding his involvement in a state-owned oil corporation land procurement scandal. Bohara passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 74, following a battle with throat cancer.
