Dejan Kovačević

Dejan Kovačević is a Serbian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Gornji Milanovac, a position he has held since 2016. A graduate in industrial management, he previously worked in the insurance sector before entering politics as a founding member of the local branch of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS). Between 2014 and 2016, he served as a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. His tenure as mayor has been marked by significant infrastructure projects, though it has also faced criticism regarding allegations of corruption, nepotism, and legal disputes involving local media and municipal administration.
