Denny Heck is an American politician currently serving as the 17th Lieutenant Governor of Washington, a position he has held since 2021. Previously, he served as the U.S. Representative for Washington's 10th congressional district from 2013 to 2021 and as a member of the Washington House of Representatives. Throughout his career, Heck has been involved in public affairs and education policy, co-founding the public affairs network TVW and authoring several books on politics and education. He is known for his legislative work on financial services and cannabis banking reform.
