DeShanna Neal

DeShanna Neal is an American politician serving as a member of the Delaware House of Representatives for District 13. Elected in 2022, Neal ran a progressive campaign focused on mental health, environmental protection, and the legalization of cannabis. Beyond their legislative work, Neal is a dedicated community organizer and the founder of the Intersections of Pride Foundation. They are also a published author, having written the book "My Rainbow," which highlights their experiences as a parent of transgender children. Neal holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix and a master's degree from Wilmington University.
