Desiree Becker

Desiree Becker is a German politician serving as a member of the Bundestag since 2025, representing the state of Hesse. Born in 1994 in St. Wendel, she has been a co-leader of The Left in Hesse since October 2024. In her parliamentary work, Becker has taken a critical stance on foreign policy, notably opposing the extension of Bundeswehr peacekeeping missions in Kosovo. She has argued that such interventions fail to achieve stability and has criticized the European Union's approach toward Serbian ethnonationalism.
