Devesh Shakya is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Lok Sabha, representing the Etah constituency in Uttar Pradesh. A member of the Samajwadi Party, he began his political career in 2002 and previously served as a member of the Zila Panchayat. In the 2024 Indian general elections, he secured his first parliamentary seat by defeating the incumbent BJP candidate. Shakya holds a B.A. and an LLB degree from Kanpur University and is a member of the Committee on Information and Communication Technology in the 18th Lok Sabha.
