A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he previously served as a student leader and held positions within the Indian National Congress, where he gained prominence for his role in the Bhatta-Parsaul farmers' movement and advocacy for the Land Acquisition Act, 2013. In his current capacity, he has been instrumental in negotiations for the Noida International Airport and the implementation of the Uttar Pradesh Lifts and Escalators Act.
