Yumnam Khemchand Singh is an Indian politician currently serving as the Chief Minister of Manipur since February 2026. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has represented the Singjamei constituency in the Manipur Legislative Assembly since 2017. Previously, he served as the Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly from 2017 to 2022 and held various cabinet portfolios, including Municipal Administration and Housing Development, in the second Biren Singh ministry. Beyond his political career, Khemchand is a distinguished martial artist and a master in Taekwondo, having played a significant role in establishing the Taekwondo Federation of India.
