Dianne Hesselbein is an American politician serving as the minority leader of the Wisconsin Senate since December 2023. Representing the 27th Senate district since 2023, she previously served for ten years in the Wisconsin State Assembly, where she held the position of assistant minority leader. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, she holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and a master's degree in religious studies from Edgewood College. Before her election to the state legislature, she served on the Dane County board of supervisors.
