Dilia Blok

Dilia Blok is a Dutch politician and administrator who served as the mayor of Someren from December 2017 until March 2025. Born in Gouda in 1966, she previously held various roles in local government, including serving as a municipal council member and alderman in Bergambacht and Krimpenerwaard. Before her political career, she worked at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, where she rose to the position of unit head, and served as a reservist for the national police. In March 2025, she stepped down from her mayoral duties for health reasons.
