Dilvanda Faro

Dilvanda Furtado Faro is a Brazilian politician and trade unionist currently serving as a Federal Deputy for the state of Pará. Born in Bujaru, she began her political involvement in the 1980s through Catholic youth movements and joined the Workers' Party (PT) in 1987. Before her election to the Chamber of Deputies in 2023, she served as a state deputy in Pará from 2019 to 2022. Her legislative work focuses on issues such as environmental protection, rural development, and the rights of women and indigenous peoples.
