Diogo Pacheco de Amorim

Diogo Pacheco de Amorim is a Portuguese politician serving as a member of the Assembly of the Republic representing Porto and Vice-President of the Assembly. Born in Lisbon in 1949, he studied philosophy at Coimbra University and was a longstanding member of the CDS – People's Party before joining Chega in 2019, where he became a key ideologue. Politically aligned with liberal conservatism, his platform emphasizes free-market policies, stricter immigration controls, and traditional Judeo-Christian cultural values.
