Dirk Elkemann is a German politician currently serving as the Lord Mayor of Wiesloch. Born in Coesfeld in 1970, he is a qualified lawyer and public administrator. Before his election in Wiesloch, he served as the First Mayor of Schwetzingen starting in 2009. Elkemann was first elected as the Lord Mayor of Wiesloch in 2015 and assumed office on January 1, 2016. He was re-elected for a second term in October 2023 with 87.7 percent of the vote. He is non-partisan.
