Doğan Bekin

Doğan Bekin is a Turkish politician, writer, and translator currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly for Istanbul. Representing the New Welfare Party (YRP), he also holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the party. Before his parliamentary career, Bekin worked extensively as a translator, including for Turgut Özal, and served as a columnist for various publications. He holds degrees in English language and literature and is a member of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission within the Turkish Parliament.
