Dominic Fritz

Dominic Fritz is a German-Romanian politician serving as the Mayor of Timișoara since 2020. A political scientist by profession, he previously worked as a consultant for international development and served as chief of staff to former German President Horst Köhler. Since entering Romanian politics, he has focused on urban mobility, sustainable transport, and humanitarian support for Ukraine. In 2025, he was elected president of the Save Romania Union, having become a Romanian citizen the same year.
