Donavon Hawk is an American politician and activist serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives for the 76th district. Of Crow and Lakota heritage, he is a member of the legislature’s Indigenous Caucus and has been an advocate for Native issues. Before his election in 2020, Hawk worked in retail management and as a marketing and public relations coordinator for the Butte Family YMCA. He currently serves as the treasurer of the Montana Democratic Party and is recognized as an openly gay legislator.
