Donny Olson is an American politician, physician, attorney, and commercial pilot who has served as a member of the Alaska Senate since 2001. Representing rural communities in Western and Arctic Alaska, he is a member of the bipartisan majority caucus. Olson is noted for his integrity during the Alaska political corruption probe, where he was the only legislator to reject a bribe offer. Beyond his legislative career, he serves as the president and CEO of Olson Air Service and is a reindeer herder. He remains active in the Senate despite recovering from a stroke-like medical emergency in early 2025.
