Dorin Junghietu

Dorin Junghietu is a Moldovan energy expert and politician currently serving as the Minister of Energy of Moldova, a position he assumed on February 19, 2025. With over 16 years of international professional experience, he has specialized in the coordination and implementation of major energy projects. Prior to his ministerial appointment, he held positions at various international firms, including Sicim in Kazakhstan, Worley in Australia, Saudi Aramco, and the Petrotel Lukoil Refinery in Romania. He holds degrees in Exact Sciences and Chemical Engineering from the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești and a master's degree in Political Sciences and Conflict Management from the University of Aberdeen.
