Douglas Pickett

Douglas T. Pickett is an American politician and rancher currently serving as a member of the Idaho House of Representatives for the 27A district, having assumed office on December 1, 2022. A graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in economics, he co-owns and operates the family-run Pickett Ranch, which specializes in the production of wheat, potatoes, beef, and lamb. Prior to his legislative career, Pickett held various local leadership roles, including serving as a commissioner for the Oakley Valley Cemetery District and chair of the Cassia County Federal Lands Advisory Group.
