Born in Pastos Bons, Maranhão, he has been active in regional politics, serving as a substitute federal deputy for the state of Maranhão. He assumed office in the Chamber of Deputies on July 2, 2024, replacing Fábio Macedo, and served until October 30, 2024, when the titular deputy returned to his mandate. He previously ran for federal deputy in the 2018 and 2022 elections.
