Dragana Mitrović

Dragana Mitrović is a Serbian politician and academic serving as the Mayor of Vršac. A member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), she assumed office following the city's official designation as a city in 2016. Beyond her political career, she is a distinguished university professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Belgrade, where she has specialized in international relations, political economy, and Asian studies. She has also served as an advisor at the Serbian embassy in Beijing and founded the Institute for Asian Studies in Belgrade.
