Dru Kanuha is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Hawaii Senate, representing the 3rd district. He assumed office after winning the 2018 general election, succeeding Josh Green. In May 2021, he was appointed as the Majority Leader of the Hawaii Senate following the retirement of J. Kalani English. Kanuha continues to serve in the state legislature, where he plays a significant role in the Democratic leadership of the chamber.
