Dušan Muňko is a Slovak politician and a long-serving member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. A founding member of the SMER – Social Democracy party, he has served multiple terms in parliament since 2002. Throughout his career, he has held significant administrative roles, including State Secretary at the Ministry of Environment and Director General of the Social Insurance Institution. In October 2024, he joined the SNS parliamentary caucus for legal reasons while maintaining his membership in SMER–SD.
