Durga Das Uikey

Durga Das Uikey is an Indian politician and educator currently serving as a Member of the Lok Sabha representing the Betul constituency in Madhya Pradesh. Since June 2024, he has also served as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs under the third Modi ministry. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Uikey has focused his legislative and social career on tribal development, rural education, and grassroots governance. Before entering national politics, he worked as a teacher and was actively involved in community literacy and health advocacy programs.
