Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar is an Indian politician currently serving as the Governor of Kerala since January 2025, with additional charge as the Governor of Tamil Nadu since March 2026. A long-time member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he previously served as the Governor of Bihar and Himachal Pradesh. Earlier in his career, he was a member of the Goa Legislative Assembly, where he served as Speaker from 2012 to 2015 and as a cabinet minister in the Government of Goa from 2015 to 2017. Arlekar is noted for his early association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and his efforts to implement paperless legislative systems during his time as Speaker in Goa.
