Durga Murmu

Durga Murmu is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. He represents the Phansidewa constituency, having been elected in the 2021 West Bengal Assembly election after defeating his opponent from the All India Trinamool Congress by a margin of 27,711 votes. While he has been active in regional politics, he notably resigned from his position as a district general secretary for the Bharatiya Janata Party in August 2023, though he remains a member of the legislative body.
