Eang Sophalleth
Profile
Eang Sophalleth is a Cambodian civil servant and politician serving as the Minister of Environment since 2023. He earned his PhD at the University of Calgary in Canada and worked in the private sector before returning to Cambodia in 1995. He subsequently entered government service, holding undersecretary positions in the Ministry of Public Work and Transport and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries before joining the Ministry of Environment.
