Ecological Uprising

Aleksandar Jovanović Ćuta is a Serbian politician and environmental activist currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly of Serbia. He rose to prominence as a leader of the 'Defend the Rivers of Stara Planina' movement and founded the Ecological Uprising organization in 2021 to protest environmental degradation and mining projects. After participating in the 'We Must' coalition and briefly joining the 'Together' party, he now leads the Ecological Uprising as an autonomous political entity within the 'Serbia Against Violence' coalition. His political platform focuses on environmental protection, sustainable development, and opposition to the current government.
