Ecological Uprising

Aleksandar Jovanović Ćuta is a Serbian politician and environmental activist who serves as a member of the National Assembly of Serbia. He rose to prominence as a leader of the 'Defend the Rivers of Stara Planina' movement and later founded the Ecological Uprising, a green political organization focused on environmental protection and opposition to large-scale mining projects like those proposed by Rio Tinto. After participating in the 'We Must' coalition and briefly joining the 'Together' party, he established the Ecological Uprising as an autonomous political entity and joined the 'Serbia Against Violence' coalition to advocate for democratic reforms and environmental sustainability.
