Ed McDougall is an Australian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Bayside Council in New South Wales. First elected as a councillor in 2017, he has represented Ward 5 since the formation of the merged Bayside Council, focusing on community safety, environmental sustainability, and local infrastructure projects. In addition to his mayoral duties, he has been involved in local volunteer initiatives and previously served as a Chief of Staff to a Member of Parliament. He was elected Mayor by his fellow councillors in October 2024 for a term extending through 2026.
