Ed Ra is an American politician serving as the Minority Leader of the New York State Assembly. First elected to the Assembly in 2010 to represent the 19th district, he previously held roles including ranking minority member of the Ways and Means Committee. Before his political career, he worked as a deputy town attorney and a legal aide in the New York State Attorney General's office. Ra is known for his opposition to New York City congestion pricing and for co-founding the bipartisan New York Future Caucus.
