Eduardo González Toro is a Peruvian industrial engineer and politician who served as the Minister of Energy and Mines of Peru under President Pedro Castillo from October 2021 to February 2022. Prior to his government appointment, he worked as an industrial engineer and received a gold medal at the National Invention Contest in 2015 for a hydraulic energy transformer. During his ministerial tenure, he focused on dialogues with mining communities and labor unions before stepping down in early 2022.
