Jaime Quito
Profile
Jaime Quito is a Peruvian politician and lawyer born in Arequipa in 1975. He studied law at the José Carlos Mariátegui University and previously worked as a trainer at the Center for Social Studies and Research. He entered politics with the Free Peru party, unsuccessfully running for mayor of Paucarpata in 2018. He was subsequently elected as a Congressman of the Republic representing Arequipa for the 2021-2026 term, during which he presided over the Preparatory Board and the Production Commission. He was later elected as a Senator of the Republic of Peru for the 2026-2031 term representing the national single district under the Juntos por el Perú party.
