Eduardo Verano de la Rosa

Eduardo Verano de la Rosa is a Colombian politician and businessman currently serving as the Governor of Atlántico. A long-standing member of the Colombian Liberal Party, he previously held the governorship from 2008 to 2011 and again from 2016 to 2019. His extensive career includes serving as the Colombian Minister of Environment from 1997 to 1998 and as a member of the Constituent Assembly that drafted the 1991 Constitution of Colombia. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles in public utility companies and served as the Secretary General of the Liberal Party, where he focused on internal party democratization and modernization.
