Edvīns Šnore

Edvīns Šnore is a Latvian politician and film director who has served as a member of the Saeima. He is widely known for directing the 2008 documentary film The Soviet Story, which explores the history and atrocities of the Soviet regime. He studied political science in Norway and earned his master's degree from the University of Latvia, later completing a doctoral thesis on the Holodomor. Throughout his career, he has been associated with the National Alliance party and has been active in national and cultural discussions within Latvia.
