Eglantina Gjermeni is an Albanian politician, diplomat, and academic who served as the Minister of Urban Development from 2013 to 2017. An expert in gender equality, she led the Gender Alliance for Development Center for a decade before being elected to the Albanian Parliament in 2009. During her parliamentary tenure, she chaired the Subcommittee on Gender Equality and Prevention of Violence against Women. In 2022, she was appointed as the Permanent Representative of Albania to international organizations in Vienna, including the OSCE and the United Nations.
