Eduard Shalsi

Eduard Shalsi is an Albanian politician and a long-serving Member of the Parliament of Albania. Born in Korça in 1968, he began his career in the banking and insurance sectors before entering politics as the Chief of Cabinet and Deputy Mayor of Tirana. Since 2009, he has served as a member of the Albanian Parliament, representing various districts including Tirana, Berat, and Pogradec. Throughout his tenure, he has held significant roles such as Minister of State for Protection and Entrepreneurship and Chairman of the Standing Parliamentary Committee on Production Activities, Trade and Environment. Beyond his legislative work, Shalsi is the President of the Albanian Chess Federation and has been recognized for his contributions to economic growth and financial inclusion initiatives.
