Eitan Ginzburg is an Israeli politician currently serving as a Member of the Knesset. Born in Argentina, he immigrated to Israel as a child and later served as a major in the Israel Defense Forces. Ginzburg made history in 2018 as the first openly gay mayor in Israel while serving as the mayor of Ra'anana. Throughout his career, he has held various roles, including Minister of Communications in 2021 and advisor to the Deputy Minister of Defence. He is a graduate of the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya and Tel Aviv University.
