Elżbieta Witek is a Polish politician and educator who has served as a member of the Sejm since 2005. A long-standing member of the Law and Justice party, she held several high-level government positions, including Minister of the Interior and Administration and government spokesperson. From 2019 to 2023, she served as the Marshal of the Sejm, the speaker of the lower house of the Polish parliament. Before entering national politics, she worked as a teacher and school director in Jawor and was active in the Solidarity trade union movement.
