Eleanor Begtang

Eleanor Bulut Begtang is a Filipina politician currently serving as the representative of the lone district of Apayao in the House of Representatives of the Philippines, a position she assumed in 2022. Her extensive political career includes serving as the governor of Apayao from 2019 to 2022, as well as holding the office of congresswoman for the same province from 2010 to 2019. Prior to her legislative and gubernatorial roles, she served as the mayor of Calanasan from 2001 to 2010. She is a prominent figure in Apayao politics, having held various elected offices for over two decades.
