Elena Murelli

Elena Murelli is an Italian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic. Born in Piacenza, she holds a degree in Economics and Commerce from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and has an extensive background in research, project management, and academia, particularly in the fields of digital divide and e-learning. Before her election to the national parliament, she served as a municipal councillor in Podenzano. First elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2018, she transitioned to the Senate in 2022. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has focused on labor, social affairs, and European policy, while also chairing several inter-parliamentary groups.
