Roberto Menia is an Italian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic. A long-time figure in the Italian right, he previously served in the Chamber of Deputies from 1994 to 2013 and held the position of Undersecretary for the Environment in the Berlusconi IV government. Menia is widely recognized for his advocacy regarding the history of the eastern border, having been the primary promoter of the law that established the 'Day of Remembrance' for the victims of the foibe massacres. Throughout his career, he has been associated with several parties, including the National Alliance and the National Movement for Sovereignty, before joining Brothers of Italy in 2019.
