Elisabeth Müller-Witt is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia. Born in Gelsenkirchen in 1953, she studied economics at the University of Freiburg. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) since 1984, she served on the Ratingen city council from 1995 to 2012 before being elected to the state parliament in 2012. She currently serves as the deputy chair of the SPD parliamentary group in the Landtag and is a member of the board of trustees for the House of History of North Rhine-Westphalia.
