Elisabeth Winkelmeier-Becker

Elisabeth Winkelmeier-Becker is a German lawyer and politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag for the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis I constituency since 2005. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), she previously held the position of Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy from 2019 to 2021. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has focused on legal affairs, family policy, and sustainable development. Following the 2021 federal elections, she assumed the role of chairwoman of the Committee on Legal Affairs. Known for her active participation in coalition negotiations, she remains a prominent figure within the CDU parliamentary group.
