Elise Borg is an Australian local government politician currently serving as the Mayor of Georges River Council. First elected as a Councillor for the Kogarah Bay Ward in 2021, she was subsequently elected Mayor in October 2024, becoming the first woman to hold the position. Prior to her political career, she worked in the corporate advertising and marketing sectors. Borg is a resident of Beverley Park and advocates for principles of fairness, equity, and the preservation of open spaces for future generations.
