Elizabeth Rowray

Elizabeth Rowray is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing the 35th district since assuming office in November 2020. Born and raised in Delaware County, Indiana, she graduated from Muncie Burris High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Ball State University. Before her election to the state legislature, where she defeated incumbent Democrat Melanie Wright, Rowray worked as a legislative director for Congressman Mark Souder and held a position with the Muncie-Delaware County Economic Development Alliance. In addition to her legislative duties, she maintains a career as a consultant in the non-profit sector.
