Ellen Pogemiller

Ellen Pogemiller is an American politician serving as a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives for the 88th district since 2024. Born and raised in rural Texas, she earned her degree from the University of Missouri. Before her election, she worked as a congressional assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives and held positions at a homeless shelter in Ohio. Her professional background includes extensive experience as a lobbyist for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, the Oklahoma County Immunization Coalition, and the Oklahoma Education Association. She assumed office in November 2024 after winning the general election.
