Elliott Engen

Elliott Engen is an American politician serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2023, representing District 36A. As the first Generation Z Republican elected to the Minnesota Legislature, he has served as an assistant minority leader and focused on public safety, education, and economic policy. Engen previously worked in wildlife conservation and founded a chapter of Turning Point USA while attending Hamline University. His legislative tenure has included authoring school security legislation and opposing various gun control measures, alongside a brief 2025-2026 campaign for Minnesota State Auditor.
